CBME China 2016 Moves to a NEW Venue with 223,305 sqm Exhibition Space to Meet Industry Demand

As the country adopt to the new law, China’s baby, child and maternity industry continues to have a very steady growth.

With the increased in consumer consumption and demand, more suppliers are in the market. CBME China, the world’s largest trade event for child, baby and maternity products, has seen more than 10% growth in the number of participating companies in 2015. To further accommodate the demand of the market, CBME China will move to the National Exhibition Convention Center (NECC) in Hongqiao, Shanghai this July 20-22, 2016.

The demand for licensed products has seen considerable growth in the recent years. China's licensing market was pegged at USD1 billion, which only accounts for 2.5% of the global market.

“China is a high potential market for licensing industry. In a recent survey, 46% licensed owners consider China a high priority market to develop licensing business over Europe and US. More and more license owners are aggressively entering this market. CBME China has launched the Licensing Zone since 2012, we have seen considerable interest and growth in this sector. In cooperation with Licensing Expo, Las Vegas and Brand Licensing Europe, CBME China 2016 will launch an expanded and enhanced Licensing Zone, where new properties, characters and license partners to meet and grow their business in China,” says Athena Gong, General Manager, CBME.
